On 7 May 2009, both the Victorian and Australian Governments announced funding for the construction
of a $1 billion comprehensive cancer centre in Parkville, Melbourne. Construction of the new facility
will begin in 2011 and be completed by the end of 2015
Bio2ic provided consultancy services to Aptus in relation to the Aptus bid for the Parkville
Comprehensive Cancer Centre (PCCC)
Bio2ic reviewed the Request For Proposal (RFP) documentation provided by the Government and
provided feedback to the Aptus consortium regarding interpretation of needs including
review of design analysis options.
We worked with the design, construction and facilities management team (including equipment
advisers, other service providers to aid in the design process) in the review of various concept
design proposals and philosophies.
Bio2ic provided expert review findings to the bid preparation team, and for use in presentation
to the Government and users.
Bio2ic provided assistance with bid writing/ reviewing which was then submitted and accepted by the government.
