"Consultant to Li Ka Shing Foundation for inspection of the Joint Influenza Research Facility of Shantou Univeristy Medical College and Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, Shantou, China (a BSL-3 facility)"

Tony Della-Porta reviewed the BSL-3 facility and provided a report stating reccomendations on how best to bring the facility up to standards that will allow safe research of bird flu.

A training course was also run by Bio2ic for the staff working in the facility, to ensure that they have the knowledge to work safely in a BSL-3 environment.
